JULY, 7, 2026

The most expensive home of the week for June 30, 2026 is a huge Lake Tahoe estate that is on the market for $125 million

LARGE REDUCTIONS BY SUPER LUXURY HOMES IN U.S.

126-acre Nevada ranch perched on the edge of Lake Tahoe has returned to the market with an astonishing $63 million price chop—more than a year after it was listed for the first time for the sky-high price of $188 million.

The 35,000-square-foot Glenbrook, NV, compound, which is now on the market again for $125 million, is owned by alcohol mogul Larry Ruvo, head of Southern Glazer Wine and Spirits of Nevada, and his wife, Camille.

And while its price may have been chopped by one third, the nine-figure ask has still helped to propel the dazzling property to the top of the week’s most expensive homes list.

Known as Shakespeare Ranch, the massive property features a 7,713-square-foot primary residence designed by Marc Appleton that is nearing completion, according to the listing.

Over-the-top amenities include a lakefront cabana, a private pier, two boat lifts, and 14 buoys found on 425 feet of shoreline. An entertainment pavilion has a commercial-grade kitchen, bar, game lounge, and wine room.

There is also an indoor wellness pavilion with pool and spa amenities. Other highlights include multiple garages, equestrian facilities, and rodeo grounds for an annual summer rodeo.

More jaw-dropping estates to make the week’s most expensive homes list include a Manhattan penthouse featured in the Showtime series “Billions,” a spec mansion in Beverly Hills, and a newly constructed James Bond-inspired property in Florida.
