A frog and a scorpion are on the side of the river. The scorpion says to the frog “will you give me a ride on your back across the river?“  The frog says “you must be crazy, if I give you a ride on my back across the water you will sting me”.    The scorpion says “oh no, then we would both die.”  The frog says alright and the scorpion jumps on his back.  About halfway across the river the scorpion stings the frog and the frog yells  “scorpion what have you done!”.  The scorpion says “frog, this is the middle east“.
