Just as Wag The Dog, a movie from1997, was ahead of it's time portraying politicians manufacturing situations to further their agenda, Command Authority, a fictional novel by Tom Clancy and Mark Greaney is incredibly prescient in it's forecasting of events that are unfolding in the Ukraine right now.
The book published in December of 2013, is a terrific read despite being over 700 pages. Not to reveal too much of the plot, I can only say that the authors must have been the "fly on the wall" of the Kremlin, prior to writing this book.
